The Lord's Table

The Lord's Table

Founded in January of 1996, The Lord's Table in Old Town Victorville California seeks to share God's blessings, feed the hungry, help the needy, be kind, loving and respectful to each of God's people and reach out to new ministries when God gives the call.

The Lord's Table is a nonprofit, faith-based organization founded on the premise of being non-denominational under the title of High Desert Churches United. We refuse no one based on color, sex, religion, gender or social status. The donations we take in always stay within the High Desert communities. And every penny that is raised is used toward feeding the hungry.

VICTORVILLE • Founded in January of 1996, The Lord's Table in Old Town Victorville seeks to share God's blessings, feed the hungry, help the needy, be kind, loving and respectful to each of God’s people and reach out to new ministries when God gives the call.

We also seek to direct those in need to services provided by others when the Lord’s Table cannot meet the need.

Our organization is making a huge impact locally by feeding not only the homeless but people that are temporarily out of work, people that are just making ends meet. We feed between 150 and 350 people daily, depending on their monthly situation.

We provide bagged meals Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to noon. On the third Friday of every month, we provide a food bag of staples, with items such as dry milk, pasta, rice, canned food, fruit juice, bread, fresh veggies, plus several pounds of chicken or other protein items. This past year we have provided up to 375 bags per month.

The Lord’s Table supports all the United Way functions in the High Desert plus we also support the other organizations in the United Way community such as The High Desert Homeless Services, Moses House Ministries, Samaritans Helping Hands, The Community Tool Box of Adelanto, St. John of God Health Care Services and the American Red Cross, to name a few.

And every penny that is raised helps toward the hungry, sick and needy.

The Lord’s Table welcomes and receives people from all walks of life such as the elderly, disabled, homeless, low-income families with children. The majority of the work performed at the Lords’ Table is from volunteers. Our ministry relies heavily on generous monetary and food donations from private individuals and local High Desert communities, businesses and agencies such as St. Mary Medical Center, which provides mobile health services through a grant from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. They provide physical exams, cancer screenings, chronic disease management, TB screenings and immunizations to name a few.
